NAT is a student-run, not-for-profit youth theater organization, dedicated to providing a quality learning experience for young people in the fields of acting, writing, direction, production, and technical theater. Based in the Albany area of New York, NAT was founded in1997 in order to provide the theatrical experience young people in the Capital District crave but often cannot obtain. Members of NAT participate in every part of the creative process, from set design and playwriting to operating the lighting. Every summer, NAT produces an original play or musical written by one or more of our members. Membership is free, and includes anyone from elementary and middle school to college.
